So a year and a half has passed since I last posted on this journal.

I was engaged then, and that has since ended. I got my pilot's license, and am working on further flight training in Spokane, WA. I have about a year left in school which sometimes gets depressing because most of the people I graduated high school with finished college last year. For quite some time, the workload of flight training has precluded working on any art. Someday when things slow down (Lord willing) I will enjoy putting some more things together.

The bad news is that I broke my back, and that hurt alot. And now I have to wear a brace that looks like a bullet-proof vest for 3 months.

The good news is that I am getting better.
I am working on a kiriban for Rahead
I haven't got any characters of my own, so I hope she doesn't mind me drawing one of hers.

I'm working on a project for which i submitted a couple of studies... it's a  fairy under a mushroom... got the main point of it all fleshed out, but it's got a lot of tuning to go. i think i might be done in a week or so...

I spent most of my class time today working on a Chibi drawing of myself on my nice little yellow moped, and it was turning out quite good. Then I decided it needed color. And picked up my box of pastels.

Big mistake.

Oh well, there will be others, but even so it's kind of saddening to know that I ruined a perfectly good peice of art. darn.

I'm taking Aircraft mechanic classes, and today when we started shop, a busload of Korean people about my age disembarked and started streaming through the hangar- It was hilarious, because they seemed very Japanese- climbed up on the planes and took group photos with peace signs held out and such. Alot of the girls were wearing short pleated skirts with high'ish boots, and most of the guys had funky hair jobs. Some of them wanted us to pose with them for photos. Quite fun. ^_^ V
