Not bad at all! The arms are drawn in very effective positions, conveying the sense of energy that you desired to convey.

The pose is nice, as well. Its a very interesting pose, albeit one that is not common, and it works very well.

A couple of things to point out: the left leg seems slightly awkward--as if it is bent to the side, instead of being bent back. On the drawstring of the pants and in the hair, I would add a slight horizontal movement, so the overall picture doesn't seem quite so up-and-down.

The colouring in the picture is done very well--especially on the skin highlights and on the blue jeans. Very nice, and very pleasing to the eye.

Just curious--what kind of background will you eventually give this?
